Great location near the beach.
The hotel service was disappointing and unhelpful. Our room had ants everywhere, even in the bed, which made our stay unbearable. We left a night earlier and felt like we wasted our money here.

great central base for beach and marine adventures
Staying here was a treat, as we could easily stroll to Nungwi Beach in just about 15 minutes and even visit the nearby Baraka Natural Aquarium, making our days filled with beautiful coastal views and local culture. the hotel’s wonderful garden provided a relaxing retreat with a unique interior design using antique dhow wood, which added to the charm of our stay.

Unfortunately, the hotel lacks a proper private beach area, and while there’s access to the shoreline, it’s marred by aggressive touts pushing various activities. Misleading images suggest bungalows are closer to the water than they actually are. You have to navigate some stairs to reach the beach, which at times is somewhat unpleasant with seaweed present. Noise levels can be a problem, particularly with loud music from neighboring areas that can disrupt your stay. Breakfast is limited, not a buffet, and the menu can be unclear, leading to misunderstandings about food orders.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed snorkeling and exploring the local markets. The beach view was stunning, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially with breakfast. Can't recommend it enough for a fun getaway or a yoga retreat!
Had an issue with the internet connection, which was problematic when we needed to reach the reception at night. It would have been nice to have better Wi-Fi in the rooms.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful location. The snorkelling was an experience of a lifetime! The staff was super friendly, and we appreciated the excellent food offered, which showcased Zanzibari spices. Our family suite provided fine sea views.
In my wife’s opinion, the pool area could use some toys and games for children.

Stunning Ocean View and Friendly Staff
We had a fantastic stay in a Double or Twin Room with Sea View. The breathtaking ocean view from our balcony was definitely the highlight, especially during sunrise! The staff were wonderfully attentive and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, and we highly recommend trying the fresh juices at breakfast. However, the service could be improved as we noticed some delays during peak times.

Had a lovely two-night stay in a Deluxe Bungalow with Sea View, where I enjoyed amazing beach walks and relaxing by the infinity pool. The outdoor atmosphere was perfect for unwinding, especially with live music playing in the evenings. One downside was the intermittent Wi-Fi in the bungalow, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all. 🌴

Incredible ocean views from the room and delightfully friendly staff enhanced the experience. The spacious bathroom and balcony allowed for stunning sunrise views, while breakfast boasted fresh fruit and delicious miso soup, though some ordered items were missed. The need for water shoes was felt due to the slippery beach access, and a bar fridge in the room would have been a nice addition.
